King Arashnor
The King of Arashnor and all lands of Northern Larinia. He sent Arista and her Force to discover why the
lights of Solaris seemed to expel the Darkness that was covered their lands.
Valris Bylaryl
The principle court cleric of Arashnor, as well as head of the Volcanon priests in the northern kingdom. Despite
the importance of his job, he appears easy going and light hearted. He is Valrya's father, though little is known
of her mother. He is also skilled with a mace and is currently travelling with Arista's Force.
Serin
The Archmage of Arashnor and a great researcher and developer of magic. He is currently rumoured to have been
experimenting with blinking (teleporting) magic. Has a polite friendship with Valris, though the two are often
at odds.
Valrya Bylaryl
A Captain of the Arashnor navy, more recently coming to own her own ship, the Valiant, a unique ship strongly powered
by magic. She is an accomplished swordfighter, as well as magic user. She is daughter of Valris, an important figure at
court, though they do not see each other too often.
King Sparshalt
The King of Sparshalt and all lands of Southern Larinia. He sent Cobray and his Force to investigate the activity around
the sealed shrine east of the capital, then on to Annivis.
Afrinn Sardok
The principle court cleric of Arashnor and one of the highest ranking priests of the Light in all Larinia. He does not
travel much these days due to an old and persistent leg injury. He is great friends with Commander Karlak - the two
have been on many missions together.
Karlak
Commander of all Sparshalt's military Force's and tactitian to the King. He is great friends with both Afrinn and
Cobray. Much to his distaste, he is not currently travelling with the general but is administrating resources in
Annivis.
Ebek
Mayor and leader of Zirakesh. He sent Garron to Annivis for aid in clearing out their mine problem, as well as ending nearby
monster threats. As reward for their services, he awards Cobray some mithril ignots and allowed Garron to remain with the Force.
Karash
A mysterious man encountered in the Southern Shrine. He apparently was able to open the sealed entrance
and retrieve the sword and orb of darkness within. The mighty artefact in his grasp (and perhaps his own power too)
he easily overcame Cobray and his Force before disappearing.
It has since been revealed by Arys that Karash is none other than an Astrar, one of the ancients. He objected to the settlement of Larinia, and has since given himself to the darkness in body and soul.
Shylsa
A mysterious woman encountered in the Zirakesh mines. It is presumed she was behind the monster activity there,
though little else is known about her yet.
It has since been revealed by Arys that Shylsa was once a noble Astrar, an ancient like himself. She was an extremely gifted magician with high knowledge of Larinia and the darkness. It was a huge blow to the Larinian settlers then when Karah captured and corrupted her.
Adonix
The dark and incredibly strong general that led the physical attacks agains Arashnor in its siege. The red armoured
halberd wielder will not be quickly forgotten for his actions there. Unfortunately, little else is yet known of him.
Guardian Statue
The powerful and magical golem left to guard the ancient ruins on the Lighthouse Island. Despite its resistance and might,
Arista's troops brought it down. Its head was taken to Commander Graden, who's magical sword was able to shatter it.
Arys
A member of the Astrar, more commonly called the Ancients these days. He tested the Shining Force and upon their
success, revealed much to them. He told them of the colonisation of Larinia, of the origins of the darkness and about
Karash and Shylsa. He offered much aid to the distant travellers, and without him, they'd still be very much
in the dark.
